How Common Is Sleep Apnea?
According to the National Sleep Foundation, sleep apnea may affect between twenty and forty percent of the adult snoring population.
A recent BBC news story reported that nearly ten percent of all men between thirty and sixty suffer from sleep apnea.
The same BBC report noted that as many as four percent of all women in the same age bracket have the disorder and, proving again that snoring-related problems are not an all-man phenomena, the journal Pediatrics has published research showing sleep apnea in up to ten percent of children!
